Camp

On the 30th of October 2012(obviously)  room 3 and 4 went to Bridge Valley camp.We did heaps of activities including: Kayaking, Aqua Tramp, confidence course, initiative course, abseiling, rock climbing, caving, hydro and water slide, team rescue, iron man event, top team, fire and damper, low ropes, orienteering. My favorite was Aqua tramp because we all had a big war and Choi was very enthusiastic, trying to kill us all!(just jokes) Damper is delicious but all the smoke from the fire gets into your eyes and it makes them water!We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, lots of people got homesick! But the best thing was of course the food!Heres a  pic of me on camp:

My iPod`s sad sad story

On the 14th of September 2012 I got a iPod touch.

yay yay! I was excited at first until yesterday.

I was walking home with my iPod touch in my hand and I tripped and fell and you guessed it....My iPod fell into one of those metal drains!!!!!

I saw my mum up ahead and ran to her we tried lifting it for ages but it was no use we could see it even though it was in water and we were all peering into it and Quanah and her mum pulled up in the car they got out and asked us what we were doing.They thought that Piper(my little sister)was hurt but no.

So later I went to Quanah's place and we hung out.Then Frank came through that door and told me the good news!My iPod was saved and had been placed in rice(to absorbs the water) in my water cupboard. Now it has been two weeks and it works!

My Birthday!!

On Friday 14th of September it was my BIRTHDAY!
I am now 11!!
Exciting!
I got a iPod touch (which i dropped in a drain yesterday:O)
,A MGP(WHITE!!)
and some other awesome stuff.

rich task

On Tuesday the 5th of June room 3 had our all wired up presentation.All wired up is room 3s inquiry topic for circuits we all made our rich task in about 2-3 weeks,they had to include a switch and light bulb.Most of the classes at Nelson Central came.
My friend Frankie and I made a horse stable with 5 horses and an arena.
the names are Katniss, Everdeen, Primrose, Castar and Finnick, names from the Hunger Games since the horse stable is called Mockingjay stables.
I learn`t about the energy in the batteries and how lights are brighter when you use one battery.

Hi my name is Maddie.
I am 10 years old and of course i am a girl. Today has been my 2nd week at Nelson Central, and i have been kind of freaked about starting at a new school and a new city. I used to live in Christchurch, as you all probably know it as the Quaky City.
I was in all the aftershocks apart from the February one, luckily because my step dad and mum where getting married. I have a 5 year old brother how will be starting central at the end of June and a Little 3 year old sister who will be having her 3ed birthday on Sunday.I have a really cute female puppy called Billie she is a Snoodle.
I happen to have a lot of step family's i say that because i have a step dad, a step mum, a step grandma, a step grandad make that 2 step grandads plus i have heaps of step cousins and stuff but i cant remember their names!
I am half American, quarter Auzzie and of course quarter Kiwi!
My favorite book is the Hunger Games series i just need to read the Mocking jay!
My favorite movie is again the Hunger games!!
I enjoy listening to music, reading books, going on the internet, watching TV and of course eating junk food!
